About Me!

Tyler Benson is a 21 year old actor, dancer, singer, and choreographer based in New Jersey. He grew up in a small town, Colonia NJ, where he attended theatre camps as a child. From a very young age, he fell in love with being on stage, and has not stopped since. He loves to dazzle the stage with a big smile and some high kicks! Tyler is currently a Senior at Rowan University where he is a double major in dance and musical theatre.

Outside of theatre, Tyler was a competitive swimmer for over a decade. The water was his second home when the stage wasn't there. Tyler believes that his experience in swimming has shaped him to be the performer he is today.

In addition to his love for musical theatre, contemporary dance is a huge part of his artistic life. He served as president of the Rowan University contemporary dance company, Dance Extensions for three years - and in his time produced three showcases where he was a producer, choreographer, and dancer.
